Sedona Trail

I took a brief walk on one of the
myriad Sedona trails
after deciding I should do some trail
photos. This one reflects my natural preference for long lens use
(70-200 @160) in the landscape. It compresses the frame as we see
the saturated red foreground and the more hazy distant hills. This
narrow field of view is in contrast to others taken on the trip
including my ‘have to take’ iconic Oak Creek view of Cathedral Rock
late afternoon. By the time I got there the snow had vanished. Even
less contrasty is Sego lily from this same trail walk.
